For Farscape fans still grieving over the show’s premature death in 2002 – a loss that the cluttered two-part Peacekeeper Wars in 2004 couldn’t even begin to heal – the wait for the long promised webisodes has been one of the few things keeping us going.
Asked on Twitter whether they were still likely to happen, Syfy executive Craig Engler responded sadly, “We tried. Financing didn’t work.”
When we spoke to the anarchic sci-fi show’s co-creator Brian Henson last year, he told us he hadn’t given up hope and was still committed to seeing them through, but it’s looking like Syfy will not be involved…
