According to Bleeding Cool, an unnamed source claims that 20th Century Fox is so unhappy with how Josh Trank’s Fantastic Four reboot is working out that they want to get rid of both the director and Simon Kinberg’s script.
Other directors have been approached, and apparently the studio has also taken issue with the cast, who have yet to sign contracts.
Screen Crush, meanwhile, have produced a counter-rumour that according to “high-level studio sources”, the studio are perfectly happy with Trank, and filming is still set to begin in six months’ time.
You know how we feel about unnamed sources, so it’s difficult to know who to believe when there’s two of them…
