It looks like Bruce Campbell and Sam Raimi’s whirlwind of excitement has turned the cast and crew’s lives over, as those earlier promises of a sequel to 2013’s Evil Dead reboot and a Army Of Darkness 2 to unite them like a blood-soaked slapstick single universe are dead.
“I don’t think they’re gonna make it,” admitted reboot star Jane Levy to Bloody-Disgusting.
“I mean, they’re always coming up with a new thing – now I hear they’re making a TV show. I was like, what? [Laughs] I honestly don’t know, but it doesn’t seem like there’s going to be an Evil Dead 2 anytime soon. At least, not with me in it.
“I think they just like exciting their fans and confusing them.”
