Frank Miller and Robert Rodriguez have cast Casino Royale‘s Eva Green as Ava Lord in Sin City: A Dame to Kill For.
Green (Dark Shadows, Franklyn) is the perfect fit for the lethal seductress, and Joblo report that the filmmakers couldn’t be happier with their decision.
“We’ve been wanting to tell this story for a very long time. Ava Lord is one of the most deadly and fascinating residents of Sin City. From the start, we knew that the actor would need to be able to embody the multifaceted characteristics of this femme fatale and we found that in Eva Green. We are ecstatic that Eva is joining us.”
Rising star Julia Garner (Martha Marcy Mae Marlene, The Perks of Being a Wallflower) has also been cast in the film in an as-yet unnamed role.
