Nicolas Roeg’s classic horror Don’t Look Now is getting a remake.

THR reports that StudioCanal and The Picture Company’s Andrew Rona and Alex Heineman are setting up a new version of the masterpiece, which starred Julie Christie and Donald Sutherland as a couple who travel to Venice after losing their daughter. A psychic nun may have a link to their daughter in the afterlife, but she tells them that they are in terrible danger.

The remake will come from the producing team behind the Escape From New York reboot. StudioCanal is looking to find a studio before they begin the search for a writer or director.

You can buy Don’t Look Now on Blu-ray for £9.99 at Amazon.co.uk. Keep up with the latest horror news with the new issue of SciFiNow.
