Dominion Season 3 cancelled, no more angels

SyFy cancels post-apocalypse series Dominion after two seasons

After spending some time with its fate up in the air, post-apocalypse show Dominion has officially been cancelled by SyFy.

Variety reports that the show, based on Scott Stewart’s film Legion, won’t get a third season following low viewing figures, despite protest from fans.

“Led by [creator and showrunner] Vaun Wilmott, the talented cast, producers, writers and crew of Dominion have done a tremendous job bringing this ambitious, cinematic series to the screen over the past two seasons,” read SyFy’s official statement. “We thank them, as well as our producing partners Universal Cable Productions, Bold Films and Film Afrika.”

The show was set in a future where a war with the angels had ravaged the earth, and followed the human resistance against the heavenly host.. It starred Christopher Egan, Tom Wisdom, Roxanne McKee, Anthony Head and Alan Dale.

You can buy Dominion Season One on Blu-ray for £12 at Amazon.co.uk. Keep up with the latest genre news with the new issue of SciFiNow.
