Richard E Grant, whose previous Doctor Who contributions included voicing the Ninth Doctor in Paul Cornell superb 40th anniversary webcast ‘Scream Of The Shalka’ and playing the Tenth Doctor in Steven Moffat’s Comic Relief special ‘The Curse Of The Fatal Death’, will be appearing in the new series.
According to The Sun, Grant will be playing a villain in the Christmas special, alongside alongside Silent Witness actor Tom Ward.
That Richard E Grant is appearing is confirmed by the BBC, the Christmas special and villain stuff is all via The Sun, who it’s worth remembering don’t have the best track record when it comes to reporting on Doctor Who.
