While 10th Doctor David Tennant, along with companion Rose Tyler (Billie Piper), will be showing up for the Doctor Who 50th anniversary, none of the surviving original Doctors are likely to, says 7th Doctor and Hobbit star Sylvester McCoy.

“The 20th century Doctors haven’t heard anything,” McCoy told Digital Spy. “I don’t know about the 21st Century Doctors, but we from our century have not been asked to do it. We old Who-ers have not been asked to go along.

“All of us want to do it, just for the fans – because that’s what they want,” he explained. “But we’ve heard nothing – Tom Baker’s heard nothing, Colin Baker, Peter Davison, Paul McGann… none of us have heard anything.”
