Following in the footsteps of Joaquin Phoenix, Star Wars prequel trilogy and Big Fish star Ewan McGregor is rumoured to be the latest choice for the role of Doctor Stephen Strange.
According to a report by Badass Digest, McGregor has been prepping role the role, first teased in 2014’s Captain America: The Winter Soldier.
At least looks-wise, McGregor doesn’t exactly spring to mind when considering potential candidates for the role. However, he’s known for taking on a variety of roles, with any number of impressive performances to choose from.
Big-budget comic-book movies are a new territory for him, but we for one would look forward to seeing what he brings to the table – providing that he’s actually cast, of course.
