Day One trailer online

Quiet Earth has scored a rough copy of the trailer for Day One, the midseason post-apocalyptic “event series” debuting on NBC in the 2010. The show follows a group of survivors in an apartment block who have to deal with the collapse of civilisation in the wake of a global cataclysm, which sees strange objects first attack and then establish themselves across the planet. The trailer is embedded below.

So what did you think? We were somewhat unconvinced by the CGI, although given the resolution of this trailer we’d imagine that it will be sharper when the episodes air. In addition, we were relatively unconvinced by the more cloying aspects of character interaction, although it certainly looks like it will pack a punch. The real question is, with the ending of Lost, Battlestar, and other mythology-driven series, are you ready to commit to a new one? Sound off below.
Day One stars Julie Gonzalo, David Lyons and Thekla Reuten among others. The series will fill Heroes’s time slot when it airs in the United States.

      Looks good, there’s a lot more to it than I thought. The link in your article seems to have died, try this one;

      Yep… I like the look of this. Bad quality trailer, but if it has elements of V, BSG, Caprica, Virtuality and Jericho I think it could be very interesting.
      I’ll be watching on ‘Day One’. ;-)
