With major players like Punisher and Elektra already cast, Marvel’s Netflix-hosted series Daredevil is fleshing out its supporting cast members ahead of its second season, with Deadline reporting that The Host and Safe House star Stephen Rider has joined the cast.

It’s being reported that he will play Blake Tower, a hot-shot New York-based district attorney, who assists Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock by providing him with intel on criminal activity. Making his first comic-book appearance in Daredevil #129, he’s worked with the likes of Captain America and She-Hulk, and it looks like his superhero-orientated work life will make the transition to the small screen.

Rider joins a cast that already includes Season 1 regulars Charlie Cox, Elden Henson, Deborah Ann Woll, Vincent D’Onofrio and Rosario Dawson, as well as new cast members Jon Bernthal and Elodie Yung.

Daredevil Season 2 will air on Netflix in 2016. For more about the comics that inspired the series, pick up the 100 All-Time Greatest Comics: Revised Edition bookazine now.
