Cowboy Ninja Viking movie makes the best casting choice

Marvellous actor is lined up to star in Cowboy Ninja Viking movie

Cowboy Ninja VikingThe Image Comics series Cowboy Ninja Viking is set for the movie treatment, and reportedly has a seriously awesome star attached.

Collider is reporting that Guardians Of The Galaxy and Jurassic World star Chris Pratt is set to topline the movie from Universal. Yep, they’re saying that Star Lord himself will take the lead role as the schizophrenic government assassin with those three distinct personalities that make him incredibly skilled and dangerous.

Chris PrattThe comic, from writer A.J. Lieberman and artist Riley Rossmo, is a huge amount of fun and Pratt would definitely be a great fit for the lead.

Collider reports that Zombieland writers Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese wrote the latest draft of the script, but no director is attached.

“The protagonist of the graphic novel, Duncan, is a result of a counter-intelligence program made up of Multiple Personality Disorder patients who are transformed into agents known as Triplets, so-called for their three different personalities (hence the title).  Duncan subsequently escapes and uses his skills to track down the billionaire who masterminded the program.  We’re told that per the latest draft of the script, the three different personalities (the Cowboy, the Ninja, and the Viking) physically manifest onscreen as three different people when Duncan switches personas, but to onlookers he still just looks like Duncan (ie. Pratt).  It’s possible that the film could be executed this way, with three different actors playing the protagonist’s manifestations while Pratt plays Duncan, but obviously the script and/or vision may evolve once a director comes onboard.”

Pratt as Duncan makes so much sense. Let’s just hope this is true.
