Juliet Landau’s (vampire) batshit insane Drusilla, the original squeeze for James Masters’ bad boy bloodsucker Spike and Season 2 regular on Joss Whedon’s Buffy The Vampire Slayer, is getting her own five-issue spin-off Dark Horse comic according to Entertainment Weekly, who also have a sneak preview of the cover art.

Written by Drusilla actor Juliet Landau, the story will pick up immediately after the character’s appearance in the ongoing Angel & Faith comic-book, and she promises “you will get different sides of Drusilla than you have ever been seen before.”

Talking about her continued love for the character, Landau added, “It was an actor’s dream role.

“There’s so much range and dimension and so many different colors to the character. It’s just really rife with possibilities in terms of where you can go. You can go to any era or any direction, really.”
