Bruce Willis will be appearing in Sin City 2 according to director Robert Rodriguez. Speaking to MTV at Sundance (via Bleeding Cool), the director confirmed that Hartigan and his bum ticker will be back for more in A Dame to Kill For.
“Bruce [Willis] is back, so you’ll be seeing him.”
In the same interview, Rodriguez confirms that he and co-director Frank Miller are shooting Sin City 2 in 3D. “We shot this in 3D. We didn’t shoot Sin City in 3D. I wouldn’t want to convert that one probably. The difference in shooting it is just… you can’t even compare. Because this is a very two dimensional world it’s very stylised. To see that kind of stylisation in 3D will blow people’s mind.”
In addition to the recently cast Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Josh Brolin (who will be playing Dwight), the film will also star Ray Liotta, Juno Temple and Jeremy Piven, according to The Playlist. Their roles have yet to be announced, and Rodriguez still hasn’t given any clues as to who will be playing Ava Lord.
