Brightburn new trailer wants to do good (but probably won’t)

Superpowers are a nightmare in this new trailer for horror Brightburn

Sony Pictures has released its final trailer for upcoming superhero horror Brightburn, and it’s pretty intense:

Here’s the synopsis for the film:

What if a child from another world crash-landed on Earth, but instead of becoming a hero to mankind, he proved to be something far more sinister? With Brightburn, the visionary filmmaker of Guardians Of The Galaxy and Slither presents a startling, subversive take on a radical new genre: superhero horror.

The film directed by David Yarovesky from a screenplay by Mark Gunn and Brian Gunn. It’s produced by James Gunn and Kenneth Huang, and stars Elizabeth Banks, David Denman, Jackson A. Dunn, Matt Jones and Meredith Hagner.

Brightburn will open at cinemas across the UK and Ireland on 19 June 2019. Get all the latest sci-fi news with every issue of SciFiNow.
