Brightburn tells a superhero horror story with this new motion comic video

James Gunn’s superhero horror Brightburn hasn’t even been released yet but it already has an animated retelling of what we’re guessing is the story in the form of this stunning motion comic video. Check it out:

Here’s the synopsis for the film:

What if a child from another world crash-landed on Earth, but instead of becoming a hero to mankind, he proved to be something far more sinister? With Brightburn, the visionary filmmaker of Guardians Of The Galaxy and Slither presents a startling, subversive take on a radical new genre: superhero horror.

The film directed by David Yarovesky from a screenplay by Mark Gunn and Brian Gunn. It’s produced by James Gunn and Kenneth Huang, and stars Elizabeth Banks, David Denman, Jackson A. Dunn, Matt Jones and Meredith Hagner.
