According to The Wrap, Green Lantern screenwriter Michael Green, whose other genre credits include writing and producing The River, Heroes and Smallville, has signed up to write Ridley Scott‘s Blade Runner follow-up.
As with Star Wars: Episode VII, original star Harrison Ford is still unconfirmed, although Scott is believed to be romancing the actor for a reprise.
There’s still no sign of whether it will be a prequel, a sequel, or some sort of convoluted spiritual prequel like Prometheus.
