It’s fairly safe to say that Iron Man 2 is one of the more anticipated superhero releases next year, with the panel at Comic-Con next week sure to draw thousands in. It’s not just because of the success of the first either – some interesting choices have led to Mickey Rourke taking on the role of Whiplash, and Scarlett Johansson as the fiery Black Widow.
Entertainment Weekly have managed to score the first images of Johansson in-costume, which they’ve used as their cover along with Robert Downey Jr and Rourke. The images are below.
Iron Man 2 is directed by Jon Favreau, and will be released in 2010.

Hmmn,Scarlett Johansson is too young for the role of Natasha Romanov but then that`s only secondary to the fact that she`s been chosen to pull in hordes of impressionable young men.
As for Mickey Rourke not wanting to play his character, Whiplash, as a “one dimensional P****” and requesting that a cockatoo be given him as his character`s pet so he can talk to it while he`s drunk, this sounds absolutely amazing!
Iron Man 2, like Iron Man 1, will be another massive turkey. Another bucket of bilge.
See if I`m wrong!!!
