Attack The Block‘s John Boyega is well and truly part of the DIsney franchise machine now, with his lead role in JJ Abrams’ Star Wars: Episode VII, but the actor was recently subject to a Twitterstorm when it looked like he might be pitching for Marvel’s long-mooted Black Panther movie.
And lo, a rumour was born.
However given he’s part of not only the notoriously secretive Abrams movie process, but a whole new Star Wars film, John Boyega is certainly far too careful to drop something so major in a burst of Twitter enthusiasm.
He could have just been spending the day reading comics.
Oh. He was. Could he have been simply covering his tracks? How can we tell he genuinely likes comics and engages with them as a real fan?
Oh. He does. But don’t expect to read that on many sites…
