The Killing Joke animated film casts the right Joker

Batman: The Killing Joke animated film casts the guy you cast as the voice of The Joker

JokerThere has been a run of star-studded animated films of classic Batman stories recently, including The Dark Knight Returns, and Alan Moore and Brian Bolland’s The Killing Joke is the latest in line, directed by Sam Liu.

Mark Hamill has been very vocal about wanting to make that movie for years, and recently tweeted that he had hoped to reprise his role as The Joker for it following the big announcement, which made all kinds of sense. Hamill’s been the definitive voice of The Joker for so long, and it’s one of the character’s most iconic storylines.

Now, Collider has reported that Hamill will indeed be playing the Clown Prince Of Crime, and in fact has already recorded his part. Fans will know that Barbara Gordon and Jim Gordon are the other two key players in the story, so we should hear who’s playing them soon.
