Obviously, it’s no surprise that Avengers: Age Of Ultron star Thomas Kretschmann – aka the villainous Baron von Strucker and rumoured father of Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch – has signed a multi-picture deal with Marvel Studios.

That’s a standard now, but speaking to BZ Berlin, Kretschmann revealed there’s more to it than that.

“I have a multi-picture deal which means I will not only appear in the second part, but they’re planning with me for a longer period of time,” said Kretschmann.

“But I don’t know details yet, they’re keeping their cards close to their chest – top secret!”

Talking about his experiences on Avengers: Age Of Ultron so far, the star added, “I was nervous. I was over-prepared – then on the set I went up to Joss Whedon, who is treated as a genius, and said, ‘This is my first day, this is huge, please have patience with me, I’m a bit nervous.'”

Avengers: Age Of Ultron will be released on 1 May 2015. You can buy Avengers Assemble on Blu-ray for £16.83 at Amazon.co.uk and find out more about the comics that inspired the film with new digital magazine Uncanny Comics.
