Arrow came straight out of the gate riffing on Christopher Nolan’s Batman series so it’s no surprise that the showrunners would do anything in their power to get the Dark Knight into Arrow Season 3.
Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, executive producer Marc Guggenehiem said, “At the end of the day it’d be so awesome to have Batman on the show. That’d be really cool. I don’t think that will be happening anytime soon, but you never know…one day.”
Once upon a time we’d have dismissed this as wishful thinking but with two different incarnations of Deadshot and the Suicide Squad – in Arrow and in their own forthcoming movie – as well as both Gotham and Batman V Superman offering duplicates of Alfred Pennyworth and Bruce Wayne… anything seems possible.
Which isn’t the same thing as probable. Obviously.
