According to Digital Spy, Heroes and Stargate Universe star Robert Knepper has joined the cast of Arrow Season 2 as classic DC Comics villain Clock King.
Knepper will appear in Episode 14 alongside Doctor Who‘s Alex Kingston, who returns as Dinah Lance.
Though often identified as one of the Dark Knight’s villains due to his roles in Batman: The Animated Series, Batman: The Brave And The Bold, and the 1966 Batman TV series, Clock King first appeared in World’s Finest Comics #111 (August 1960) battling Green Arrow in a back-up strip.
Traditionally armed with clock-themed gadgets, other incarnations of the character have limited precognition, but it’s tough to imagine either of those elements being a prominent feature of his Arrow role – although they have teased more superpowers…
