Ant-Man and Scott Pilgrim‘s Edgar Wright posted to his website a teaser for the director’s Marvel Phase 3 movie in the form a screengrab from the much-loved animated series Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes.
The image comes from Season 2, Episode 5 ‘To Steal An Ant-Man’ in which Scott Lang lifts the Ant-Man technology/costume from creator Hank Pym.
Coupled with talk of Ant-Man being a heist movie, and incorporating both Pym and Lang’s take on the character, could this be the origin story for our Marvel Cinematic Universe take on the character?
