Season 9 of American Horror Story — AHS 1984 — has revealed its full cast in a series of new teasers, as posted by series creator and showrunner Ryan Murphy on his Instagram page. Check them out below:
We already knew Emma Roberts was on board to return and that she would be joined by Olympic freestyle skier Gus Kenworthy, as well as the fact that American Horror Story regular Evan Peters wouldn’t be throwing his hat into the ring for the new season. But the rest of the announcements were a surprise.
AHS 1984 returning cast members include Cody Fern, John Carroll Lynch, Leslie Grossman and Billie Lourd. New ones include Zach Villa (Destroyer), DeRon Horton (Dear White People), Matthew Morrison (Glee) and Angelica Ross (Pose).
We don’t know much about the new season’s plot yet, but we do know that it will be inspired by 80s slasher films.
