Powers, the FX adaptation of Brian Michael Bendis and Michael Avon Oeming superheroic police procedural comic, has added Charles S Dutton, best know for Alien 3, to the cast as Captain Cross – the head of the homicide division which investigates ‘powers’-related deaths.
The studio is also reported to be eyeing up Friday Night Lights‘ Kyle Chandler for the role of Detective Christian Walker, according to Deadline.
The pilot episode will be directed by Sons Of Anarchy executive producer Michael Dinner, the script is by Charles ‘Chic’ Eglee, former executive producer of The Walking Dead, and is expected early 2012.
