Jurassic Park star Sam Neill, who plays FBI Agent Hauser in JJ Abrams‘ Alcatraz, revealed that had the show not been cancelled Alcatraz Season 2 would have been one to watch out for

He added mischievously, “Well , Hauser leaves the FBI and takes up interior decorating as a career , the Warden becomes a social worker… Nah, just pulling your leg.”
Jorge Garcia, who famously played Hurley in JJ Abrams other mystery island, Lost, implied that the mythology of the show was set to get equally complex.
“Kinda got my mind blown tonight at dinner. [Co-creator and executive producer] Bryan Wynbrandt explained the mythology behind Alcatraz. Guess what. It’s Purgatory,” he joked, adding, “Alcatraz wasn’t purgatory. Alcatraz was limbo.”
Whatever the case, it’s clear Alcatraz Season 2 was on the way to being must-watch TV, every bit as talked about as Lost.
