Agent Carter Season 2 picked up by FOX UK

UK fans, find out when Agent Carter Season 2 will be airing

Peggy fans from the UK had a bit of an excruciating wait on their hands this year when it looked like Agent Carter Season 1, which was a hit in the US, wasn’t getting a UK broadcast. Eventually, FOX TV UK finally stepped in and picked up the series, which aired this summer to buckets of enthusiasm.

Thankfully, that excruciating wait won’t be getting a repeat as FOX UK has already announced that it has acquired Agent Carter Season 2 and plans to premiere it in 2016, “close to the US air date”. Thanks, FOX UK.

In a press release, Jeff Ford (Managing Director of FOX International Channels UK) said: “Marvel’s Agent Carter was a ratings smash for FOX UK, with a million people tuning in to Peggy Carter’s adventures on launch.  We’re thrilled to bring the season 2 premiere to UK fans and can’t wait to see what’s in-store for the feisty and fearless heroine.”

Details for Season 2’s plot are still for Peggy’s eyes only, but we do know that the story will begin one year on from where Season 1 left off. Peggy is set to leave her home in New York and journey to Los Angeles for her most dangerous assignment yet.
