Hellblazer fans can start either getting excited or worried, as David S Goyer’s Constantine TV series has receieved a pilot order from NBC.
THR reports that the script from the Man Of Steel writer and Daniel Cerone (The Mentalist) has the network excited enough to order a pilot, which means that casting should be announced soon. If it goes to series, Goyer will stay on as showrunner.
It’s not yet clear what version of Liverpool’s favourite magician/exorcist/rake at the gates of hell we’ll get. Will he be American-ised like he was in the underrated (yes, underrated) Keanu Reeves movie? Or will he stay true to his roots?
