Speaking to The Huffington Post, Thor: The Dark World and Pacific Rim star Idris Elba revealed that he was once in contention for a Luke Cage movie, based Marvel’s super-strong everyman.
“There was talk about Luke Cage at one time – I thought Luke Cage was a pretty interesting character,” Elba confirmed. “They were going to do it, but I don’t know what happened…”
Now that Luke Cage has washed up at Netflix with his frequent partner Iron Fist, lover Jessica Jones and ally Daredevil, it would be amazing if they got back in touch – Netflix does have a pretty good track record of bringing in high-profile stars and creators for their original series…
