Deadline have confirmed that Gotham – which is believed to be tonally similar to Greg Rucka and Ed Brubaker’s fantastic Gotham Central comic-book, following the origins of Commissioner James Gordon and many of the Batman villains – has found a home on Fox following a bidding war with other networks.
The show comes from The Mentalist and Rome creator Bruno Haller and according to Deadline, “In Gotham, Gordon is still a detective with the Gotham City Police Department and has yet to meet Batman, who will not be part of the series.”
Still room for that Arrow cameo then! (Probably not)
