The Conjuring 2 set in England?

The Conjuring 2 won’t be the Amityville Horror case, but the Enfield Poltergeist

Unsurprisingly given how well The Conjuring performed, there’s already a sequel in the offing for Insidious creator James Wan’s 70s-set supernatural horror movie and Aint It Cool News think they have the inside story.

Alluding to a specific source – which already puts them leagues ahead of Latino Review for this sort of thing – the site writes, “The case file they’re looking at occurs in the late 70s and centres on two sisters in Enfield, England, who were allegedly possessed.

“Warren said she personally saw them levitate and even saw one of the sister dematerialise in front of her only to be found 20 minutes later stuffed into an over sized fuse box, contorted in such an unnatural way that they couldn’t have replicated it if they tried.

“She also said that the demon spoke directly to her husband on many occasions. Warren cited this case as one of the most terrifying experiences of her career.”

The haunting they’re talking about looks as though it could be that of the Enfield Poltergeist, and you can read more about it on Wikipedia.
