Speaking exclusively to SciFiNow in the run up to Pacific Rim, Thor star Idris Elba, who plays the all-seeing gatekeeper of Asgard, Heimdall, teased a few snippets from the Marvel sequel, Thor: The Dark World, which is being directed by Game Of Thrones‘ Alan Taylor.
“It’s a really interesting version of Thor,” Elba confirmed. “The director has gone for a really interesting perspective on the world that Thor comes from. But I am there, manning the gate.
“There is a story for Heimdall,” the actor added. “I think it will be interesting to see what happens from the first film to this film – it’s a really interesting development.”
