Fox have appointed a writer/director for Julianna Baggott’s post-apocalyptic young adult novel Pure according to THR.
James Ponsoldt, who has made a name for himself with festival hit Smashed and the upcoming Spectacular Now, will write and direct the story about a devastated world that has been split in two (The Pures and The Wretches), and what happens when a Wretch girl on the run falls for a high-born Pure boy.
