Alright, alright, it might not be that bad – it’s by the same team as the ludicrously entertaining Crank (directors/screenwriters Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor who introduce the trailer with a brilliant deadpan self-deprecation), and they’ve got driving really fast and shouting really loudly, against a backdrop of suspension of disbelief, down to a garish artform. Something along those lines might just about rescue the franchise from aftermath of 2007’s dreadfully dull Ghost Rider which, er, crashed and burned.
Ghost Rider: Spirit Of Vengeance is set for release February 22, 2012 and whatever it’s fate at the box office, it’ll at least have the distinction of being the first 3D movie shot in Romania.
