Definitely trying to milk the gore and sex angle, especially following Jason Momoa’s other recent barbarian outing in Game Of Thrones, there’s an ‘extreme’, 18 rated version of the Conan The Barbarian trailer available once you ‘like’ the film’s Facebook face (why not ‘like’ SciFiNow too while you’re at it?).
This is a great bit of marketing in terms of clicks for content, but given the film itself is only rated 15 and therefore won’t contain some of the more explicit scenes they’re trying to lure you in with – is it a good idea to tease audiences with content that’s not representative?
