It has so much going for it... The action, pioneering CG that, dare I say it, is even better today than some of Avatar's, and Arnie and Robert are sublime. Even Edward Furlong (who would go on to appear in the not so good Pet Sematary Two and then no so bad American History X) is also great, and of course so is Linda Hamilton. My favourite scene has to be the bit at the end when the Terminator is being lowered into the molten lava. His face emotionless and his thumb sticking out of the lava even made me cry. After this we have had the weaker Terminator 3 and worse Salvation, but the Sarah Connor Chronicles was a glimmer of hope.
