7. Make sure you watch it in a good quality projection to fully appreciate the level of detail in the FX, it’s THAT intense.
Oh, and while drinking in the visual goodness sit and dream of watching it in 1080p HD at home without the annoying couple in front of you giggling at everything Scotty says!

6. Leave your Star Trek preconceptions at the door and approach it with an open mind – it’s a whole new approach and in an instant blows away every other ST film except for perhaps Khan.

The new Star Trek keeps the audience’s attention so much better than the other Star Treks… there is something fundamentally wrong with a movie that feels like a chore to watch (as are so many of the original Star Treks)
