The world is bleak, dear readers,
and we’re in need of a hero. Well…
that isn’t true at all, but the idea
alone constitutes a list of some
sort. Perhaps listing the best TV
sci-fi heroes in order of brilliance
will do the job…
Dead twice but still standing,
we simply had to include Buffy
in this list. The list of overblown,
deadly and sometimes singing
enemies is endless, but just watching
her on screen is enough to make
you love her. After seven seasons
of every emotion imaginable, Buffy
The Vampire Slayer felt like the most
human supernatural show ever made.
The empathy that you felt towards her
was heroic in itself, and watching her
slay demons, vampires, or any other of
her metaphorical troubles with highfl
ying kicks and wooden stakes just
pulled you in. Plus, towards the end of
the show she had a great big scythe.
Top gal. Shame about her sister
becoming a giant…
