Dead twice but still standing, we simply had to include Buffy in this list. The list of overblown, deadly and sometimes singing enemies is endless, but just watching her on screen is enough to make you love her. After seven seasons of every emotion imaginable, Buffy The Vampire Slayer felt like the most human supernatural show ever made. The empathy that you felt towards her was heroic in itself, and watching her slay demons, vampires, or any other of her metaphorical troubles with highfl ying kicks and wooden stakes just pulled you in. Plus, towards the end of the show she had a great big scythe. Top gal. Shame about her sister becoming a giant…
