Bill Adama has faced his fair share of troubles. Despite this, though, his actions throughout the three seasons of Battlestar emphasise his status as a hero.
He quashed a potential Cylon witch-hunt in Season 1, for example, and he returned to New Caprica to pick up the fl eet in Season 3. And, even though there have been plenty of disagreements between political and military forces, he’s always had the fl eet’s best interests at heart. His clashes with Admiral Cain in Season 2 prove this. Despite the Pegasus’s superiority in the chain of command, he wasn’t afraid of using underhand tactics to get his fl eet back. Good work.
