Though the thought of a little frog man verses an OAP Sith doesn’t seem that exciting on paper, when Yoda and Palpatine finally meet as part of ROTS’s dramatic finale, it’s quite some brawl. When the physical embodiments of all that’s good and evil in the galaxy go head-to-head, Palpatine tears down the Senate from the inside (both metaphorically and physically) and Yoda tries in vain to prevent the fall of the Republic. The green guy shows he’s still got what it takes by bouncing around the place like a super-charged power ball but by revealing the true extent of his powers, Palpatine defeats the wizened-one and forces him into exile.
