T-800 vs T-1000
Franchise: Terminator
Factions: Tech-Com vs Skynet
Film: T2: Judgement Day

As far as Cybernetic Terminators from the future goes, we thought there was only one contender – that was until an updated version turned up in Los Angles made of morphing liquid metal and boasting one hell of a mean streak. However, despite being a far superior model, Robert Patrick’s T-1000 lacks the… how shall we put it… heart of Arnie’s T-800 and as a result is always one step behind. When the two do meet in a smelting plant at the end of the movie it’s an extremely tense affair, with one Terminator hell-bent on saving John Connor and the other on slaying him. Arms are crushed, shapes are shifted and shoulder sockets are punctured. The acting might not be the best but the visual effects more than make up for it. A big ‘thumbs up’ to all concerned.
