After disposing of the Green Goblin in the first movie, Spidey is faced with a much more challenging confrontation in the sequel, squaring off against his friend and mentor Doctor Otto Octavius. In what has got to be one of the most exciting fight scenes ever committed to film, this battle of body and (quite brilliant) minds takes place on a speeding train after a series of earlier shuffles has got Parker’s Spidey senses all riled up. Punching and pounding their way through New York City, the momentum is constantly ‘swinging’ in opposing directions but, as we’ve come to expect from our favourite web-slinger, he eventually comes out on top – saving several feckless civilians in the process.
