The President
ESCAPE FROM NEW YORK
Year: 1981
Director: John Carpenter
Cast: Kurt Russell, Donald Pleasence, Lee Van Cleef
Landing on the roof of the World Trade Center and surviving the mean streets of the Manhattan Prison Island was an achievement on its own but the fact that Snake Plissken was undertaking the whole Presidential rescue under duress, as well as being hampered by an eye patch and a very attractive mullett, makes his efforts all the more impressive. And once he’s completed his mission and returned the President he even manages to stick one to the man as well. What a chap.
