Serving aboard the Enterprise for ten years, she was first commissioned by the Vulcan High Command to observe the crew and Captain Jonathan Archer but decided to stay aboard the ship once her term was over. A decision that bought T’Pol more than her fair share of disapproval from her superiors, but it came as no real surprise as she was always considered a maverick and a rebel by other Vulcans. While being more rebellious than others like her, she is also much more emotional, helping her to form a closer bond with her crewmates. Not only striking to behold, T’Pol has a great many mental abilities – she’s able to perform mind melds and she can also communicate telepathically over great distances.
