Ten of the best… Modern Day Sci-fi Pin-Ups

Claire Bennet
HEROES
Species: Human
Actor: Hayden Panettiere
She may be the baby of the bunch but Claire can compete with the sexiest in the business – she’s got the looks, the cheerleader outfit and, of course, the power of rapid cellar regeneration. Daughter of flyboy Nathan Petrelli and fire starter Meredith Gordon, she first has trouble accepting her ‘gift’ and like most petulant teenagers, she decides to take it out on (step) daddy. Nevertheless, Claire soon comes to terms with her genetic mutation and helps in the fight to take down Sylar. Many have made comparisons between Heroes and Marvel’s X-Men and, due to her unlimited healing power, Claire to Wolverine only with much less hair and, we presume, a much sweeter fragrance – but don’t be fooled, this kitty still has claws.
