A close-minded new member of the International Oversight Advisory, Mr Coolidge, orders all alien members of the Stargate Program to report to Earth for individual interviews. Fearing Ronon’s reaction, Carter invites Teal’c from SG-1 to visit Atlantis and offer Ronon some warrior-to-warrior tips on how to cope with obnoxious Earth bureaucrats. But, confident that he can keep his cool (and insulted that anyone would think otherwise), Ronon refuses Teal’c’s help.
Ronon and Teal’c arrive at the Midway station where all travellers must endure a 24-hour quarantine. But soon after their arrival, Wraith warriors invade the station and seize control. A Wraith scientist sends a mysterious device through the gate to Stargate Command. A horde of Wraith goes through the gate to Earth, and Ronon and Teal’c follow. There they find Coolidge, groggy but reviving. Refusing to trust Teal’c and Ronon to defeat the Wraith, the bureaucrat calls in a nuclear strike on the base to end the incursion, then makes a cowardly retreat to an escape hatch.
Back in Atlantis, McKay and Carter learn of the attack. Sheppard and McKay take a team of Marines to the station and battle the remaining Wraith, but when Wraith reinforcements arrive and Kavanagh accidentally triggers a Wraith booby-trap, Sheppard orders McKay to vent the atmosphere from the entire station except the control room. The Wraith are killed and the group manage to escape in a Jumper just before the station is destroyed.
Ronon and Teal’c work together to battle the Wraith on Earth. The International Oversight Advisory is impressed by Ronon’s actions and grants him its approval to be part of the SG team.
