A must-watch episode with the series
reaching a climax as the superhuman
Adria is assassinated amidst the
death of many Ba’al clones. She is
killed by Ba’al, who implants a nerve
toxin into her blood, but she manages
to lock herself into a hospital. She
uses her telekinetic powers to stop
Mitchell and Teal’c from storming
the infirmary and this allows her
to successfully go through the
ascension process. This means that
she has become one of the Ori and
therefore potentially a more powerful
threat than before, although many
questions remain unanswered. The
Ori are now deprived of a leader and
Ba’al states that the Ori are dead but
Adria says this is untrue. Also, while
many of Ba’al’s clones have been
killed Mitchell points out that one or
more may have survived. This sets up
the season finale for SG-1.
