SEASON 7

EPISODE 07:
WRATH
US Air Date: 08/11/07
Writers: Brian Peterson & Kelly Souders
Director: Charles Beeson

Lana and Clark are out horse riding when a storm approaches the farm. A bolt of lightning strikes the two of them, transferring some of Clark’s powers to Lana. Lana starts to take advantage of the powers, and tells Chloe she wants to use them to get a story. She goes to Lex’s manor and steals data files on Project Scion from his vault, then gets in a fight with Lois and Gabriel after Gabriel refuses to take a story based on stolen evidence.
Chloe and Clark try to track down Project Scion. Lana attacks Lex and finds out that he’s tracking aliens. He tries to kiss her but she chokes him and throws him into a wall, knocking him unconscious. Clark arrives and tries to intervene, but Lana attacks him. They fight and break open a container of kryptonite, weakening them both. As they recover, a vial of alien liquid breaks open and the liquid flows away on its own.
Lana returns to her surveillance centre to find the cameras disabled. She and Chloe have an argument over Clark. Lex tries to find the missing substance, and after he leaves the liquid slips out from hiding and attaches itself to a female technician.
Clark meets with Lana at the barn, and she tries to convince him she would never hurt him. She refuses to apologise for going to extremes to protect the person she loves, and Clark says that she sounds like Lex. Clark feels responsible for her actions because of his behaviour in the past, and Lana says she needs to know he loves her no matter what.
