Jimmy and Chloe are having a drink at the Talon – where else? – when they run into Sasha, a mutant who can control bees. However, it turns out Dr Curtis Knox cured her of her powers through an operation that has the unwanted side effect of partially removing memories too. Right on cue, Knox turns up and chloroforms Sasha.

Back at the Kent farm John turns up warning Clark of the threat Kara presents, unaware she is listening in via her superhearing.

Lex meets with Knox and expresses his disapproval at his carrying out experiments on the meteor freaks he is supposed to be curing, Knox then returns to his apartment where Sasha and another woman are tied up, meanwhile Chloe informs Clark she intends to undergo Knox’s operation.

Lex confronts Knox and his questionable medical ethics, he is killing people after all, and then shoots him repeatedly but to no avail. He just gets right back up. Clark then turns up and pushes the former ‘Lois and Clark’ star into an electrical transformer, whisking Lex away, but Knox gets up once more. Knox, like Dean Cain’s career, seems to be invincible.

Unaware of this Chloe arrives for her operation but Knox chloroforms her when she suspects something is up, seeking to transplant her heart into his love, Sophia.

Clark and Lex go to Knox’s office where they learn he has been alive for centuries and one Krypton-influenced scrap later between Clark and Knox and Sophia is dead.

Back at the barn, John warns Clark he’ll outlive everyone and says Zor-El was a traitor. Kara says he’s a big old liar and when Clark doesn’t support her she flies off. The next day Clark confronts Lana over the £10 million but she lies about it, and then goes to a warehouse where she is using a bunch of hi tec equipment to spy on Lex. The episode ends with Jimmy walking out on Chloe.
